‘Social media allow parents to engage in dialogue to get the answers they need to make informed decisions about vaccinating their children and themselves, according to Robb Butler, a WHO official working on behavioural change and health promotion.’

Robb-ButlerHe said the WHO has set up its own online platform to foster dialogue between decision-makers in WHO Europe and encourage exchange of experience. People are more likely to vaccinate and continue vaccinating if they have a role in the decision-making process, Mr Butler said.

Robb Butler was speaking to Vaccines Today at a conference on immunisation policy hosted by Fondation Merieux.
