Alessandro Cossu is an experienced communications professional and freelance journalist, specialising in health. He is a graduate in international economics, majoring in European public relations, and was named Communicator of the Year in 2012 at the International Journalism Festival in Ischia.
Alessandro has worked at Cittadinanzattiva since 1997 where coordinates the organisation’s communication and media relations activities, including social media activity, copywriting and corporate social responsibility strategy.
He has also written about citizens’ rights, new technologies, health and healthcare for a range of publications; worked as a radio producer; and served as a marketing & communications expert with advertising and technology companies.
In 2019, Alessandro co-founded IGOR, a communications agency specialised in scientific communications and big data. He is also a founding member of Vaccini360, a Facebook page on vaccines, and is an Ambassador for the Young Coalition for Prevention & Vaccination.
