Kathryn Hopkins, PhD, is the Director of Research, Vaccine Acceptance & Demand at the Sabin Vaccine Institute. “Cranky Uncle Vaccine” is currently available in Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, and is being tested in other countries (Rwanda and Pakistan) for roll out later this year, embedded in the ongoing immunisation activities of local UNICEF offices, Ministries of Health and community-based organisations.
