Originally from Italy, Silvia Romeo is an EU Health Consultant at Acumen Public Affairs in Brussels. She has previously worked as Project Manager at ThinkYoung, a Brussels-based NGO and think tank focusing on young people. Silvia is extremely passionate about European affairs and she has a strong interest in healthcare, disease prevention and vaccination-related policies.
Silvia has experience in managing projects in the field of healthcare (with a focus on vaccination and prevention) and education through impact programmes, advocacy, awareness campaigns and research. Furthermore, she has expertise in communications and social media messaging.
She has engaged in several activities related to the topic of vaccination such as participating as finalist to the Vaccine Hesitancy Hackathon at the 2019 European Health Forum Gastein. Moreover, Silvia is a member of the Young Coalition for Prevention and Vaccination (YC4PV) led by ThinkYoung which brings together European HCPs to advocate, engage and inform young people on the important value of vaccination.
Silvia holds a Double Degree Masters in Politics and International Relations from the LUISS University in Rome and from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB).
