“Anja is now one year of age but when she was one month she caught whooping cough. She spent five days in hospital and eight months coughing. I spent eight months sleeping with her on the couch to keep her vertical and help her breathing during coughing fits; she had many difficulties when eating and couldn’t fall asleep.

I ran a petition asking my government to make vaccines mandatory, to protect babies who cannot be vaccinated and to stop anti-vax movements; the #iovaccino campaign joined thousands people and lead in a movement called TeamVaxItalia and in a law that will be enacted in September.

Anja is now safe, healthy and ready to travel the world. The biggest travel possible ever: life. #vaccinepassport
